    Visitor Center

    The Williams Visitor Center is located on the corner of Railroad Ave. and Grand Canyon Blvd. and is jointly operated by the Williams-Grand Canyon Chamber of Commerce and the National Forest Service. Information is available on the local area, Kaibab National Forest, City of Williams, Grand Canyon National Park and all of Northern Arizona. Public Lands Interpretive Association operates a bookstore specializing in regional information and interpretation of the natural and cultural history of the area. The Visitor Center is staffed seven days a week from 8 AM to 6:30 PM in the summer and from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM in the fall, spring and winter. For after hours visitors there is a phone board and an interactive computer that offers information.

    Interpretive Exhibits
    The interpretive exhibits are informative and educational while sharing the history of our area.  Many of the displays are interactive with buttons to push and doors to open which unveil information.  The exhibits delve into the history of Williams, the Forest Service, Main Street America-Route 66, the Bill Williams Mountain Men, and Native American Culture.  Exhibits also feature the "Kids Corner" and Nature Outings for great educational fun!
