Main Street Program Goals & Objectives

Organization Committe: Chair:  Jean Ellen Kegler

• Improve the overall organizational structure to be more effective
• Work closely with the Historic Preservation Commission to attain mutual goals

Design Committee:  Chair:  Thad Johnson

•  Continue to protect the character and integrity of the Main Street District and ensure that future development is compatible and compliments the Main Street Project District.
• Enhance the overall way finding system to assist people with getting to and around Main Street

Promotion committee:  Chair:  Chuck Coleman

• Continue to work with the Chamber to promote and market Historic Downtown Williams
• Develop a promotional plan focused primarily on the retail segment of Main Street developing a seasonal promotional plan, and year around banners.

Business Enhancement: open chair

• Establish Main Street as one of the primary "go to groups" regarding business development, property acquisition, and new business interests.
